Job summary

Inabia Software & Consulting Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a seasoned Manager – Technical Services to lead the Technical Services Department and ensure exceptional customer support for protection relays and disturbance recorders.

You will collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Development, and customers, guiding a team of engineers to resolve complex power system protection challenges and to contribute to new product implementations. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with numerical relays and disturbance/fault recorders.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a technical engineering team.
• Expert-level knowledge of electric power system protection, integration, and automation applications.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% within the U.S. and internationally.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technical Service Engineers providing technical support to customers.
• Provide customers with product demonstrations, technical training, application guidance, and technical consultations.
• Support Sales, Marketing, Application Engineering, and Product Development with technical input.
• Develop and maintain technical service standards and best practices.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, NASPI and IEEE PSRC.
