Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Sr. Manager, Solution Consulting (SLED) to lead a team of pre-sales solution consultants and drive technical solutions that support the sales process.

You will coach the team, demonstrate products, and partner with sales and product teams to help close deals and grow revenue. You will stay current on cybersecurity offerings, industry trends, and product roadmaps, ensuring compelling demonstrations and valuable customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in sales engineering or a related role in software/tech.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team toward goals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• In-depth cybersecurity knowledge, products, and industry trends.
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Solution Consultants with performance feedback.
• Set goals, monitor progress, and evaluate team members.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across Solution Consultant teams.
• Collaborate with sales to understand customer needs and align technical solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, including demos and proposals.
• Develop deep understanding of products, technologies, and industry trends to articulate value.
• Assist in defining sales strategies and developing sales collateral and resources.
• Engage with key customers to understand requirements and address challenges.
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering demonstrations and proof of value.
• Conduct customer site visits, demonstrations, and presentations.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product management, marketing, implementation and support teams.
• Identify process improvements and share best practices to optimize sales engineering.
