Job summary

Accenture Security seeks a Senior Manager to lead delivery and client leadership across the Cyber Resilience & Defense practice. You will own workstreams, drive sales opportunities from RFPs to proposals, and mentor teams in security operations, threat detection, and SIEM/SOAR implementations.

You’ll oversee modernization programs, build roadmaps, and shape playbooks, while collaborating with partners and executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security operations across multiple domains.
• 7+ years of leadership in the SOC, Security Architecture or equivalent consulting roles
• Experience designing, optimizing and assessing log ingestion architectures for hybrid/multi-cloud environments
• Experience with business development and $2M+ annual bookings or pipeline ownership
• Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and detection engineering methodologies
• Experience on leading SIEM/SOAR platforms and security tooling
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements from current-state assessment to target-state design and implementation oversight
• Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models, staffing models, and playbook frameworks
• Lead and quality-assure threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and KPI framework development
• Oversee integration of SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, NDR, and UEBA platforms in modernization programs
• Implement detection-as-code practices, including Sigma rules and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver cutting-edge capabilities powered by technology partners
• Build relationships with technology partners (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Google SecOps) to support go-to-market efforts
• Deliver and evolve SOC offerings with automation and AI to improve defensive posture
• Create battle-tested IR runbooks and automate with AI-enabled playbooks and agents
• Mentor senior consultants and managers; develop cross-domain integrated solutions
• Develop delivery standards to ensure high-quality outcomes across engagements
• Pitch in on Accenture sales efforts when needed
• Travel 25%–100% depending on business needs
