Job summary

Angi is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our accounting team. This critical role provides technical accounting expertise, ensures US GAAP compliance, and supports the company’s financial reporting process, communicating complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The ideal candidate has 8-10 years in public company accounting, CPA, and a strong track record in SEC reporting, SOX, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience with substantial SEC reporting and technical accounting in a public company or Big 4 firm.
• CPA is required and deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of managing and developing accounting professionals.
• Strong experience with SOX controls, including design, implementation, and evaluation of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for Board, Audit Committee, and executives.
• Experience using Workiva and EDGAR filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements) and ensure deadlines.
• Lead drafting and review of MD&A, footnotes, and earnings releases with Legal, IR, and leadership.
• Manage XBRL tagging and EDGAR submissions; stay current on SEC rules and guidance.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors on SEC reporting and technical accounting matters.
• Provide guidance on US GAAP, including ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842, and other complex areas.
