CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of Salesforce and software engineers. You will shape technical strategy across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC‑Sales and Outreach, guiding architecture, integrations, and cloud‑native delivery.

You’ll manage a high‑performing team, drive Agile practices, and collaborate with Product, Security, and Executive Leadership to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with hands‑on development
• 2+ years managing or developing software engineering teams in Agile, cloud‑first environments
• Deep technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform including Apex, LWC, Flow Orchestration, Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud
• Background in full‑stack or backend development (Java, Node.js, Python, microservices)
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise apps using middleware (MuleSoft, Workato) or cloud APIs
• Direct experience delivering tech solutions for high‑volume Contact Center/Telesales operations or Outreach platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, execution, and delivery across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC‑Sales, and Outreach Programs
• Architect the Salesforce Core and broader software stack for scalable cloud‑native solutions
• Lead development of modern microservices, event‑driven middleware, and data integration pipelines
• Design and oversee high‑volume CC‑Sales workflows and omni‑channel integrations
• Hire, mentor and retain a high‑performing engineering team
• Foster Agile practices: backlog refinement, sprints, code reviews, and architecture sessions
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Marketing, and Leadership to translate strategy into tech deliverables
• Enforce DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, and Salesforce governor limit optimizations
• Explore AI and GenAI capabilities within CRM and outreach applications
• Ensure security, governance and regulatory compliance across solutions
