Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior-level data reporting lead to manage all phases of a reporting project, from business analysis to data strategy and stakeholder communications. You will design metrics, define methodologies, and oversee the creation of dashboards and reports for executive visibility.

The role requires extensive Python/SQL programming, experience with large datasets, and familiarity with GCP tooling (BigQuery) to query and transform data.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytical experience including methodology development, programming (Python, SQL), data summarization and visualization (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy).
• 5+ years coding in Python and SQL with large-scale datasets.
• Familiar with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools including BigQuery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creative problem solving, flexible, proactive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops the overall reporting strategy, defining metrics, methodologies, timelines and frequency.
• Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends and insights for decision-making.
• Oversees creation of reports, dashboards and data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Collaborates with senior management and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs.
• Develops tools and techniques to extract valuable information and transform it into actionable insights.
• Ensures reporting processes comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Evaluates new tech and automates data collection and core analysis to protect data confidentiality and integrity.
