Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Analytics to lead our analytics function and drive data‑driven decisions. The role blends hands‑on leadership with people management, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape strategy and performance.

You will partner with executives and cross-functional teams to design dashboards, own the analytics roadmap, and guide the team through technical problem‑solving. Strong SQL, data viz skills, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years in business analytics or data analysis, incl. 2+ years in people management.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing competing priorities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools.
• Own the end-to-end analytics roadmap and prioritize initiatives by impact.
• Conduct advanced analyses (trend, forecasting, segmentation, cohort) to uncover insights.
• Establish data governance standards for accuracy and consistency of reporting.
• Present findings to senior leadership in clear, business-relevant terms.
• Collaborate with data engineering and IT to improve pipelines and tooling.
• Define and track KPIs across departments.
• Stay current on analytics tools and best practices and promote adoption where relevant.
