Kiva is a global nonprofit, empowering borrowers through crowdfunded loans and a digital-first culture. The Senior Manager, Public Relations leads the PR and media backbone of the Communications & Influence team, driving strategy and executing campaigns with partners, hubs, and lending partners to amplify impact.

This role demands strong media relations, data-driven storytelling, and a track record of leading multi-partner campaigns, while owning LinkedIn strategy and thought leadership

Qualifications

• Strong track record in PR and media relations with earned coverage.
• Experience developing and executing thought leadership strategy.
• Experience managing multi-partner campaigns across internal teams and external partners.
• Experience with PR agencies, client-side management.
• Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools for PR campaigns.
• Ability to secure speaking engagements and conference opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead PR and media strategy, overseeing day-to-day PR firm relationships.
• Pull borrower stories and impact metrics to support media opportunities.
• Own Muck Rack data tracking, media lists, and localized pitching.
• Develop partner-facing media resources for hubs and lenders.
• Lead campaigns with Strategic Partners and Lending Partners end-to-end.
• Own LinkedIn strategy and amplification of thought leadership.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships to surface opportunities.
• Manage analytics and share insights across teams.
