Kiva is seeking a Senior Manager, Public Relations to lead the PR and media backbone of its Communications & Influence team. This role spans public relations, media strategy, partner campaigns, thought leadership amplification, and analytics, requiring a leader who can set direction and execute details across focus impact areas.

The Senior Manager supports the Director in PR, media, and thought leadership, drawing on borrower stories, impact stats, research, and outcomes to fuel external media

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in public relations and media relations, including direct media pitching and journalist management.
• Experience developing and executing thought leadership strategy with narrative development.
• Experience managing multi-partner communications or marketing campaigns.
• Preferred: PR agency experience or managing agency relationships.
• Familiarity with tools like Sprout, Looker, Dovetail, Salesforce.

Responsabilités

• Public relations and media – drive PR and thought leadership goals with the Director.
• Pull data like borrower stories and impact metrics to support media opportunities.
• Own Muck Rack tracking, media lists, and localized pitching.
• Maintain PR resources for partners to enable media opportunities.
• Lead campaigns end-to-end with Strategic Partners, Lending Partners, hubs, and grantors.
• Own LinkedIn strategy and thought leadership amplification; share insights across teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional opportunities with Marketing and Partnerships.
