CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to provide enterprise leadership for our project controls function across a large, complex portfolio of integrated design-build projects for municipal, industrial, and federal clients. This role will modernize platforms, workflows, and forecasting to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

The ideal candidate brings deep leadership in project controls within the AEC industry and expertise in integrated delivery models.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification required.

Responsibilities

Define the enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance model.
Establish project controls approaches for design-build and other integrated delivery models.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value management, forecasting, variance analysis, and scheduling.
Develop indicators, project health reviews, dashboards, and actionable insights for margin and risk.
Lead modernization of project controls platforms, data, and AI-enabled forecasting.
Establish scalable document controls standards and collaboration platforms.
Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to improve outcomes.
Develop talent and build a high-performing project controls team.
