Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of DevOps to lead a team supporting veterinary software and diagnostic platforms.

You will drive cloud operations, security, CI/CD, and platform engineering to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable customer-facing products. You will partner with product engineering, security, and IT leadership to align DevOps with roadmaps, manage incidents, and improve deployment velocity while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of DevOps, infrastructure, software operations, or platform engineering leadership.
• Experience leading DevOps engineers supporting commercial software or SaaS.
• Strong hands-on with AWS, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and container/serverless models.
• Experience embedding security, compliance, and resilience into pipelines.
• Familiarity with Datadog or CloudWatch for monitoring and performance.
• Proven ability to scale and develop a DevOps team and drive operational processes.
• Excellent communication translating technical strategy to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers supporting veterinary and diagnostic software platforms.
• Align DevOps support models with product roadmaps and business priorities.
• Drive infrastructure security practices and cost management in cloud environments.
• Advance automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve deployment speed and reliability.
• Evaluate tools and platform improvements for scalability and resilience.
• Oversee incident response, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
