Job summary

BDO USA in Chicago seeks an Experienced Manager for Outsourced Finance & Accounting to lead full-life cycle engagements, oversee staff and client relationships, and drive profitability. You will review final work products, manage billing, and mentor Senior Associates, shaping how clients leverage finance and accounting services to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; or equivalent experience required.
• Seven or more years of general accounting experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with outsourced/delivery center operations; consultative advisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-life cycle of outsourced finance & accounting engagements.
• Lead discovery meetings, develop solutions, and present value to clients.
• Ensure timely billing and manage client relationships and service delivery.
• Oversee staffing, progress, and quality of final deliverables.
• Assist in developing scope, budgets, and fee estimates for engagements.
