Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor seeks a Senior Manager for Memory products to drive end‑to‑end sales for a major account, applying technical and customer knowledge to align products with client needs and grow revenue.

You will coordinate forecasting, PO placement, supply and credit management, and negotiate multi‑level agreements while collaborating with internal teams and external partners across regions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business or other relevant discipline of equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years working experience preferably in a customer facing role.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of the cloud (infrastructure, business model).
  • IT savvy and familiarity with IT technologies.
  • Able to communicate with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sensitivity to differences in multi‑cultural business environments.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial, people-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and organize data to support revenue attainment across goal-setting, business planning, execution, and risk management.

  • Build customer relationships across the organization and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and close product target quantities and prices.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Manager for Memory products, you will support end‑to‑end sales activities for an assigned account, using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to help customers apply our products and services to their needs and drive revenue growth.

  • Manage day‑to‑day sales activity for the assigned account, including forecasting, PO placement, supply availability, credit management, and timely resolution of issues.
  • Compile and organize data to support revenue attainment across goal‑setting, business planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Identify and evaluate business opportunities, and support negotiations that drive mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties.
  • Category revenue responsibility: AI related memory sales with multi‑billion $ revenue targets
  • Build customer relationships across the customer organization and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and close agreements on product target quantities and prices (multi‑level, multi department, multi‑cultural).
  • Execute agreements on a monthly or quarterly basis to meet revenue targets.
  • Manage PO placement, invoicing, payments, and credit.
  • Manage and optimize supply chain activities aligned with customer requirements (hub operations, material returns, and data‑management).
  • Responsible for category strategy & forecasting and execution planning
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for category product portfolio qualifications & quality control
  • Manage, analyze and align sales forecasts with production targets
  • Report account activities and results to management and internal stakeholders.
  • Travel to customer site, Samsung US, Korea/China as applicable (and when possible).
  • Local: Visit customers, 2‑4x per week
  • Domestic: San Jose, 1‑2x per quarter
  • International: Asia, 1‑2x per year

Reports to:

Director, Sales

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business or other relevant discipline of equivalent experience
  • 5 - 8 years working experience preferably in a customer facing role
  • Proven negotiation skills

  • IT savvy (Understanding of IT technologies, infrastructure)
  • Communicate with internal/ external stakeholders across organizational levels

  • Microsoft Office suite

  • Additional MS/MBA degrees a plus
  • Understanding of the semiconductor industry
  • International experience, bilingual a plus

Base Pay Range

$158,000—$252,000 USD
