Job description

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Manager, Memory Sales to lead one of the company’s most critical strategic accounts within the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure and advanced memory ecosystem. This role will focus heavily on High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), and next-generation memory solutions supporting AI training and inference platforms.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary commercial and strategic interface for a customer, driving executive engagement, long-term business planning, supply alignment, pricing strategy, and cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, and product teams.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CA Headquarters in alignment with our Flexible Work policy with 10-15% travel.

Reports to: Senior Director, B2B Account Sales

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Leadership
    • Own and manage one of the company’s largest and most strategically important AI infrastructure accounts.
    • Develop and execute long-term account strategies aligned with customer roadmap, technology transitions, and capacity planning.
    • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships across sourcing, engineering, operations, and architecture teams.
  • HBM & Advanced Memory Business Management
    • Lead all commercial activities related to HBM, and next-generation memory technologies.
    • Drive business negotiations involving pricing, supply allocation, product transitions, qualification timelines, and long-term agreements.
    • Support customer programs spanning AI accelerators, GPU platforms, networking systems, and datacenter infrastructure.
  • AI Infrastructure Market Expertise
    • Maintain deep understanding of AI training and inference trends, hyperscale datacenter deployments, GPU architectures, and memory bandwidth requirements.
    • Provide strategic insights on industry direction, competitive positioning, and technology adoption impacting the customer roadmap.
  • Cross-Functional Program Execution
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, product planning, operations, quality, and executive leadership teams to ensure seamless customer support and issue resolution.
    • Coordinate qualification schedules, production readiness, supply ramp planning, and technical escalations.
    • Lead internal alignment for critical customer deliverables and executive reviews.
  • Customer Engagement & Issue Resolution
    • Anticipate customer needs and proactively manage risks related to supply, qualification, performance, and operational execution.
    • Drive urgent issue resolution with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in fast-moving environments.
    • Maintain high levels of customer trust through transparent communication and consistent execution.
  • Data-Driven Business Management
    • Analyze market trends, customer demand signals, pricing dynamics, and internal operational data to drive strategic decisions.
    • Develop executive-level business reviews, forecasting models, and revenue growth strategies.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Engineer, Business, or related discipline and 15+ years sales experience in semiconductor industry or related technical field.

  • Strategic Account Management: Manage and expand a key account within the memory and AI/datacenter markets. Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Proactive Customer Engagement: Anticipate the client’s needs, proactively address challenges, and ensure the timely delivery of projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Market Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the memory market, including HBM and graphics memory, to make informed strategic decisions and provide the client with the most relevant information.
  • AI/Datacenter Market Insight: Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the AI/datacenter market, using this knowledge to enhance customer engagement and support the overall sales strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and engineering, to align on account strategies and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze internal data and client feedback to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business objectives.
