Job summary

Samsung Semiconductor in San Jose, CA is seeking a Senior Market Intelligence professional to join the Memory Marketing team. You will build and maintain analytic models, translate customer conversations into structured intelligence, and develop data-driven narratives to guide executive decisions.

The role requires 10–15 years in market intelligence within semiconductors, strong communication, and proficiency with AI-based research tools; on-site work is required and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (EE, CS preferred, MBA preferred).
• 10–15 years in market intelligence, strategic marketing, or related analytical roles in semiconductors/tech.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives.
• Experience with market sensing — gathering signals from sales, customers, and analysts.
• Proficiency with AI-based tools for research, analysis, and content generation.
• Ability to build scenario models and forward-looking supply/demand narratives.

What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with the Team Lead to build and maintain a strong network of industry analysts and research firms, systematically gathering, validating, their views on memory demand/supply dynamics across AI, Server Infrastructure segments and PC/Consumer industry.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to translate customer conversations and market "sensing" into structured intelligence
• Develop data-driven narratives and forward-looking scenarios (base/bull/bear cases) to support executive decision-making
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate data synthesis, pattern detection, and report generation across large, multi-source datasets
• Present findings to senior leadership in a clear, story-driven format that connects technical detail to business implications
• Build and maintain database of analyst and partners for Memory Marketing team to track market share, pricing, and inventory trends.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose, CAin alignment with our Flexible Work policy

Reports to: Senior Director, Market Intelligence - Memory

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required (EE, CS preferred, MBA preferred)
• 10–15 years of experience in market intelligence, strategic marketing, or related analytical roles within the semiconductor or technology industry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives, with exceptional note taking ability
• Demonstrated experience in market "sensing" — gathering and validating signals from sales, customers, Industry ECO-partners and industry analysts.
• Proficiency with AI-based tools for research, analysis, and content generation
• Ability to build scenario models and forward-looking supply/demand narratives

Preferred Skills:

• Experience at a Memory Marketing research/intelligence firm (e.g., TrendForce, TechInsights, Omdia, Yole)
• Direct marketing or market analysis experience at a Memory Company.
• Familiarity with AI/Server OEM/ODM customer dynamics and buildout cycles
• Sufficient knowledge preferred for Memory Supply chain such as WFE, CPU, GPU industry.
• Engineering background (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related), providing technical fluency in memory architecture and system-level design

Base Pay Range

$176,000 - $280,000 USD
