Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of a global food retailer, is seeking a Communications Manager, Communications Operations to drive operational excellence across communications channels and programs. You will oversee analytics, large meetings, vendor relationships and multimedia production to support engagement and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of communications experience in a matrixed organization and/or retail environment.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
• Strategic communications practitioner with hands-on contribution.
• Proven ability to collaborate with leaders, partners and stakeholders with high-quality execution.
• Experience supporting internal comms initiatives, events and engagement activities with strong PM skills.
• Advanced proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft apps; familiarity with associate apps.
• Proficiency with creative applications; video production/editing skills a plus.
• Strong writing skills and precision in deadline-driven work.
• Accreditation in Public Relations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of internal communications channels and platforms.
• Plan and execute large internal meetings and events, including town halls and enterprise forums.
• Serve as primary administrator for comms channels and tools; drive continuous improvement.
• Develop communications metrics and monthly/annual reports on channel performance and engagement.
• Analyze data to improve reach and associate experience supporting business goals.
• Manage distribution processes and audience segmentation for emails.
• Create, edit and produce video content for leadership communications and engagement.
• Coordinate video projects from concept to delivery with external partners as needed.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure performance and alignment with needs.
• Partner with Communications team to support campaigns and enterprise projects.
• Assist with creating and distributing communications content and materials.
• Liaise with Technology to address platform needs and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and enhance communications processes and best practices.
