Job summary

ECG Management Consultants, a national healthcare consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead segments of health system alignment engagements. You will guide project teams, shape client strategy, and drive growth while coaching talent and developing client relationships.

The role emphasizes operations excellence, strategic problem solving, and cross-functional leadership across healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration and/or health-related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or healthcare finance and operations.
• Experience with academic health systems on organizational design, physician alignment, and funds flow preferred.
• Ability to lead complex projects, oversee teams, and coach talent at multiple levels.
• Advanced experience with data analysis, structured problem-solving, and executive communication.
• Strong business judgment, client management, and ability to navigate ambiguous environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead large portions of project work with advanced project management to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Demonstrate mastery across project types: planning, resource allocation, budget monitoring, performance oversight.
• Conduct complex analyses aligning findings with client needs and objectives.
• Integrate insights from multiple data sources and use proxy data when needed.
• Diagnose root causes and guide teams through rigorous problem-solving approaches.
• Facilitate strategic discussions with client stakeholders and ensure buy-in on recommendations.
• Lead change management and resolve conflicting priorities with strategic foresight.
