Job summary

EY in Houston seeks a senior leader to guide engagement teams in the Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice, helping government and public sector clients recover funding from FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA, and related programs. You will manage large projects, develop client relationships, and implement engagement processes.

Travel to client sites is required; a hybrid work model applies, with in-person collaboration 40–60% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, or related field.
• 9+ years of related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.
• Excellent project and time-management skills with ability to prioritize multiple engagements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with ability to communicate complex concepts.
• Quantifiable history of business development success.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation; driver's license recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams for government/public sector clients on disaster recovery funding programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA).
