Job summary

EY’s Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice seeks a senior leader to manage engagement teams delivering disaster recovery funding compliance for government and public sector clients, including FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, and ARPA programs. The role requires building client relationships, guiding complex engagements, and leading cross-functional teams with hands-on oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 9+ years’ related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.
• Excellent project and time-management skills and the ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the confidence to communicate complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
• A quantifiable history of business development success.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams to provide government and public sector clients with services related to disaster recovery funding management and compliance.
• Develop client relationships and establish engagement processes.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure client needs are met and coordinate teams across offices.
• Travel to client sites and maintain in-office presence as required.
• Contribute to business development and practice development initiatives.
