Job summary

Lumen is seeking aSenior Sparing Program Lead for a remote US role, focused on end‑to‑end spares lifecycle management and 24x7 readiness for critical network events. You’ll drive governance, execution, and cross‑functional collaboration to protect customer experience and reduce downtime.

You will lead teams, apply analytics to corrective actions, and partner with planning, service assurance, and engineering to optimize sparing strategy and capital efficiency.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, field services, or comparable mission‑critical environment.
• Ability to lead teams, complex programs, urgent escalations, service‑level performance, and cross‑functional execution in high‑pressure operations.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to convert operational data into timely decisions, decisive corrective action, and concise senior‑level communication.
• Preferred experience with critical spares, field operations, service assurance, telecommunications infrastructure, SAP S/4HANA and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own urgent, disciplined spares lifecycle execution: fulfillment, transportation, proof of delivery, depot replenishment, repair/RMA, and closure.
• Establish program governance, controls, priorities, and improvement plans.
• Maintain 24x7 readiness for outages, critical installations, weather events, and business continuity.
• Serve as senior escalation leader for urgent program issues and DOA/transportation delays.
• Represent Sparing Program in senior leadership forums and customer reviews.
• Lead managers and teams with accountability and performance expectations.
• Own performance reviews on availability, SLA, restoration milestones, and capital avoidance.
• Use analytics and root‑cause analysis to resolve gaps and recurring service risks.
• Partner on sparing requirements, forecasting, and depot strategy; coordinate with vendors on repair actions.
• Drive automation, predictive capabilities, and system integration for better traceability and restoration speed.
