Job summary

Lumen is seeking an experienced leader to own the enterprise Critical Sparing Program, ensuring rapid and reliable equipment restoration across the spares lifecycle. You will drive governance, budgets, and cross‑functional execution to protect customer experience and uptime.

As a senior program lead, you will manage teams, oversee 24x7 readiness for critical events, and partner with Inventory Planning, Service Assurance, and Engineering to optimize sparing and capital utilization.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, field services, or similar high‑stakes environment.
• Ability to lead teams, programs, escalations, and cross‑functional execution under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills with translating data into timely, decisive actions.

Responsibilities

• Own urgent, disciplined execution across the full spares lifecycle including fulfillment, transport, delivery proof, depot replenishment, reverse logistics, repair, reclamation, asset recovery, billing, reconciliation, and closure.
• Establish program governance, controls, priorities, and improvement plans to support restoration speed, customer experience, SLAs, and financial objectives.
• Maintain 24x7 readiness for outages, installations, weather events, disasters, and business continuity as a core Emergency Response Team member.
• Serve as senior escalation leader for urgent program issues, order failures, DOA replacements, transport delays, and other service‑impacting events.
• Represent the Sparing Program in senior leadership forums, customer reviews, Service Assurance activities, and enterprise operational events.
• Lead managers, analysts, and teams with accountability, timely decisions, performance expectations, and succession planning.
• Conduct business reviews on availability, delivery SLA, restoration milestones, repair turnaround, and asset lifecycle.
• Use root‑cause analysis to resolve gaps, duplicate orders, high‑failure parts, and supply chain risks.
• Collaborate on deployed‑base analysis, sparing requirements, forecasting, depot strategy, and capital recommendations; coordinate with quality and sourcing on repairs and supplier performance.
• Drive automation and system integration to improve traceability, reduce manual work, accelerate restoration, and strengthen controls.
