Job summary

Lumen, a trusted network provider for AI workloads, seeks a Senior Manager to lead the enterprise Critical Sparing Program, ensuring readiness and reliability across network and CPE. You will own end‑to‑end performance for spare parts, logistics, and asset lifecycle governance with rapid escalation and cross‑functional coordination.

This remote role requires driving governance, restoration speed, and customer experience while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, field services, or similar mission‑critical environments.
• Ability to lead teams and cross‑functional execution under pressure with SLAs.
• Strong analytics to translate data into timely decisions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Own urgent, disciplined execution across the full spares lifecycle including fulfillment, transport, and disposition.
• Establish program governance, controls, priorities, and improvement plans to boost restoration speed and financial outcomes.
• Maintain 24x7 readiness for outages and critical events as a core Emergency Response Team member.
• Serve as senior escalation lead for urgent program issues and service‑impacting events.
• Represent the Sparing Program in senior forums and enterprise operational events.
• Lead managers and teams with clear accountability, decision‑making, and succession planning.
• Own performance management and business reviews on availability, SLAs, and lifecycle metrics.
• Use root cause analysis to resolve gaps, duplicate orders, and logistics risks.
• Partner on deployed-base analysis, sparing requirements, forecasting, and capital recommendations.
• Drive automation and system integration to improve traceability and restoration speed.
