Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Project Controls Specialist to shape resource planning and Opex governance across Custom Networks. You’ll develop data‑driven models linking demand with workforce supply, priorities, and delivery capacity.

You’ll partner with project controls, operations, engineering, and finance to identify capacity gaps, vacancies, and risks. Lead with data‑driven insights for leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related field.
• Eight+ years of experience in project controls, resource planning, or Opex governance.
• Experience building resource models, capacity plans, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Lead short-, medium-, and long-term resource planning across project teams and functions.
• Build demand/supply models reflecting workloads, vacancies, and capacity constraints.
• Develop dashboards and reporting views showing demand, utilization, and risks.
• Identify capacity gaps and recommend practical options.
• Align resource plans with project schedules and planning cycles.
• Facilitate cross‑functional governance sessions to validate assumptions.
• Translate data outputs into concise, action‑oriented recommendations for leaders.
• Improve planning standards and forecasting reliability.
