Job summary

Chime is seeking a senior Corporate Communications professional to shape the company’s narrative for earnings, announcements, and executive engagements. You will own press materials, briefing books, and outreach, while expanding media relationships across business, financial, and fintech outlets.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, you will partner with Investor Relations, Legal, and Finance, guiding crisis and issues management and driving AI-enabled efficiencies across the

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editing across press releases, Q&A documents, briefing books, talking points, and scripts.
• Established relationships with business, financial, and technology reporters, with a track record of landing coverage and managing reporter requests.
• 7+ years of experience in corporate, financial, or executive communications, in-house and/or at an agency.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, or consumer technology is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment under pressure.
• AI-first thinking and hands-on experience building AI tools and workflows that improve how a communications team operates.
• Hands-on experience with public company communications, including quarterly earnings, and working alongside Investor Relations and Legal.
• Experience preparing and staffing executives for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

• Shape Chime’s corporate narrative and reputation across earnings, announcements, and executive engagements.
• Drive communications strategy for quarterly earnings and major company announcements with cross-functional partners.
• Own press materials, briefing books, and outreach while shaping the media strategy.
• Lead the executive visibility program and staff for interviews and speaking engagements.
• Manage sensitive media inquiries and coordinate with Legal, Risk, and other partners.
• Act as AI champion by building tools and workflows to improve the team’s efficiency and scale AEO work.
• Directly manage agency partners and report on impact to leadership.
