Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate, financial, or executive communications.
• Hands-on experience with public company communications, including quarterly earnings, and working alongside Investor Relations and Legal.
• Established relationships with business, financial, and technology reporters, with a track record of landing coverage and managing reporter requests.
• Experience preparing and staffing executives for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across press releases, Q&A documents, briefing books, talking points, and scripts.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment under pressure. Manage competing workstreams without dropping details and handle sensitive issues and crisis communications.
• AI-first thinking and hands-on experience building AI tools and workflows that improve how a communications team operates.

Responsibilities

• Support our corporate announcements and financial communications: drive earnings and major company announcements, shape media strategy, own press materials and outreach.
• Own the corporate narrative: ensure messaging is consistent across earnings, announcements, executive platforms, and owned channels.
• Grow our media and influencer program: build relationships with reporters, fintech voices, Substack writers, podcasters, and emerging voices; land high-impact coverage.
• Raise our executives' profile: manage executive visibility programs, advise where leaders should appear, and brief staff for interviews and speaking engagements.
• Lead issues management: triage and respond to sensitive inquiries, craft statements, and coordinate with Legal, Risk, Security, and partners.
• Be our AI champion: drive AI-first processes, scale tools/workflows, and collaborate with Marketing on AEO.
• Keep the team running at a high level: manage agency partners, measure impact, and keep leadership informed.
