Job summary

Chime Financial, Inc. is seeking a senior corporate communications professional to shape the company’s narrative and manage communications for quarterly earnings, major announcements, and executive engagements.

You will own media strategy, press materials, briefing books, and outreach while expanding relationships with reporters and influencers. The role reports to the Director of Corporate Communications within Corporate Affairs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate, financial, or executive communications, in-house and/or at an agency.
• Hands-on experience with public company communications, including quarterly earnings, and working with Investor Relations and Legal.
• Established relationships with business, financial, and technology reporters, with a track record of landing coverage.
• Experience preparing and staffing executives for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across press releases, Q&A documents, briefing books, talking points, and scripts.

Responsibilities

• Support our corporate announcements and financial communications: drive communications for quarterly earnings and major company announcements; shape media strategy and own press materials and briefing books.
• Own the corporate narrative and ensure messaging is clear and consistent across earnings, announcements, executive platforms, and owned channels.
• Grow media and influencer program by expanding relationships with reporters, creators, Substack writers, podcasters, and emerging voices.
• Raise executives' profile by recommending appearances, briefing and staffing for interviews and speaking engagements.
• Lead issues management by triaging and resolving sensitive media inquiries with Legal, Risk and Security partners.
• Be AI champion by developing AI tools and workflows to improve team operations; collaborate on AEO work with Marketing.
• Keep the team running by managing agency partners, measuring impact, and maintaining project discipline.
