About the Department

Our National Tax Department (NTD) serves high-profile, national, and multinational clients, providing domestic and international transactional tax planning and advisory services. We aim to proactively manage our clients’ tax obligations to make a significant impact, with you at the core of this mission.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Partnership Transaction Modeling Senior Manager for our National Passthrough Transactions Group (PTG). You will work on complex tax engagements, delivering quality tax planning services. This role offers excellent opportunities for leadership, teamwork, and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory services on joint venture and partnership tax matters, including acquisition, formation, operation, restructuring, and disposition issues.
• Apply tax technical concepts to determine outcomes in deal structures and industry segments.
• Demonstrate understanding of complex tax concepts and apply them effectively in client situations.
• Deliver high-quality, timely services exceeding client expectations.
• Enhance technical skills through learning from recognized tax professionals.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, providing performance feedback and aligning responsibilities with skills and goals.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in client relationships and work products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, with at least six years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree in Tax or Law with over five years of experience.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation, especially partnership taxation.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
• Excellent mentoring, organizational, and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or Bar membership (for advancement).
• Experience with tax transaction modeling.
