About the Department

Our National Tax Department (NTD) serves high-profile, national, and multinational clients with domestic and international transactional tax planning and advisory services. Our expertise enables us to assist clients in achieving their business objectives responsibly and proactively, making a significant impact in the field.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Partnership Transaction Modeling Senior Manager for our National Passthrough Transactions Group (PTG). This role involves managing complex tax engagements, delivering quality tax planning services, and offering opportunities for leadership and career growth.

What to Expect

You will work in small teams on projects with internal or external clients, focusing on formal deliverables, developing partnership models, researching financial data, and communicating findings. You will gain exposure to various industries and global companies, expanding your industry and tax policy knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing advisory services on joint venture and partnership tax matters.
• Applying technical tax concepts to deal structures and industry segments.
• Demonstrating understanding of complex tax concepts and applying them effectively.
• Delivering high-quality, timely services exceeding client expectations.
• Enhancing technical skills through mentorship and learning from experienced professionals.
• Mentoring junior staff and ensuring team responsibilities align with skills and goals.
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in client relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, with at least six years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree in Tax or Law with over five years of experience.
• Broad exposure to federal income taxation, especially partnership taxation.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel and work extra hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or Bar membership for advancement.
• Experience with tax transaction modeling.
