Responsibilities

1. Provide tax advisory services on joint venture and partnership tax matters including acquisition, formation, operation, restructuring, and disposition.
2. Apply technical tax concepts to deal structures and industry segments.
3. Demonstrate understanding of complex tax concepts and effectively apply them to client situations.
4. Deliver high-quality, timely service exceeding client expectations.
5. Mentor junior staff and develop team capabilities.
6. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree in Tax or Law with over 5 years of experience.
2. Broad exposure to federal income taxation, especially partnership taxation.
3. Strong technical tax skills and advanced MS Excel proficiency.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
6. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Preferred

1. CPA certification or Bar membership.
2. Experience with tax transaction modeling.
