Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Manager of Application Development & Support to lead enterprise software initiatives across multiple teams.

You will manage delivery of secure, scalable applications and partner with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to drive modernization and resiliency. Responsibilities include guiding a team of developers, enforcing best practices, and aligning technology strategies with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree MBA a plus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams to design scalable platforms.
• Ensure applications include capacity planning, performance tuning, failover, and recovery.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and platform engineering practices.
• Oversee environment strategy across DEV/QA/UAT/PROD with governance.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting are in place.
• Collaborate on DR and business continuity testing and validation.
