Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Application Support Engineer II to combine advanced support with engineering-level troubleshooting across enterprise platforms.

You will lead on complex issues, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes to stabilize systems, serving as a key escalation point and reducing development-team dependencies. As part of the Technology Talent Incubator Program, you will gain hands-on experience across cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data engineering, and AI while solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• 2+ to 4+ years in application support or development.
• Proficient programming experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Ability to learn and work across diverse technologies including Salesforce and .NET.
• Experience with SQL/data querying and APIs/integrations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex incidents across applications and integrations.
• Perform advanced data analysis and debugging to identify root causes.
• Implement configuration changes and light development fixes to improve performance.
• Own issues end-to-end: diagnosis, resolution, validation, and documentation.
• Identify systemic issues and contribute to long-term solutions and cross-team improvements.
• Provider guidance and support to Level I engineers and participate in training.
