Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Sr. Manager to set strategy across multiple accounts within a Squad, working with Directors and senior leaders to align teams and drive key performance metrics.

You will lead a team including operation coordinators, account managers, and associate account managers, shaping operational execution and efficiency. You will present to senior executives, hire and develop a high-performance team, and steer strategy with data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years of working experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the Freight industry.
• 2+ years of managerial experience.
• Preferred qualifications emphasize data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, leadership and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Translate business unit goals into an operational plan / roadmap for the team.
• Identify problems early and solve key pain points for Uber Freight customers and the internal org.
• Build and inspire a culture of high quality customer service across Uber Freight.
• Estimate, seek out, and allocate team / cross-functional resources to meet objectives.
• Foster a data-driven culture of continuous improvement and strategic relationships across the org.
• Influence the broader organization on customer obsession and defect reduction.
• Understand trade-offs between CSAT and other metrics in strategy and process design.
• Uncover new business opportunities with measurable impact to company objectives.
