Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking an Account Manager II for its Intermodal division. You will be the first line of contact, ensuring freight is serviced to meet customer standards and communicating needs to operations. You will develop and maintain customer and carrier relationships while achieving key metrics.

The role is Full Time and Hybrid in the U.S., with responsibilities including load status tracking, rate maintenance, AR activities, and billing readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of intermodal shipments experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in transportation/logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact intermodal carriers to obtain load status and update systems, notifying shipper/receiver and rescheduling when needed.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with intermodal clients, carriers, shippers and receivers through professional communications.
• Correspond with customer and carrier regarding accessorial information.
• Maintain current customer rates in the Transportation Management System.
• Manage accounts receivable within guidelines and handle day-to-day tracking and communications.
• Confirm billing information is accurate and ready for invoicing.
