Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee day-to-day operations of the Mammography Department and to perform diagnostic mammography examinations. The role requires guiding and training technologists to maximize development and growth, while ensuring compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State and FDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains adequate inventory of materials and various supplies and recommends procurement of necessary supplies.
• Provides instruction to technologists and auxiliary personnel through formal and informal education.
• Allocates work assignments and participates in staff training.
• Assists with quality control procedures and documenting of phantom image, repeat analysis, calibration test, Geometry calibration, diagnostic review workstation QC, compression test, visual machine checks, view box calibration test, artifact test, CNR/SNR testing and reviewing condition, as delegated by the leadership.
• Documents procedures regarding quality control and quality assurance for mammography in compliance with ACR, MQSA, NJ State and FDA.
