Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening mammography and related procedures for adult patients. The role emphasizes patient privacy, accurate labeling, and adherence to ACR, MQSA, NJ state regulations, and FDA guidelines.

The technologist will operate mammography equipment, participate in quality control activities, document results in the EMR (EPIC), and support patient-centered care in a fast-paced breast center environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and screening mammography per ACR requirements.
• Operates equipment and selects appropriate technical factors.
• Ensures proper labeling and tracking of images in EMR (EPIC).
• Assists with quality control, calibration tests, and QC documentation.
• Maintains patient safety, shielding protocols, and infection control.
