Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography examinations in accordance with ACR requirements, including screening and diagnostic procedures.

Hours are flexible within a Monday–Friday schedule, with some evenings and Saturdays possible. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology, ARRT (M) certification, and BLS/CPR within 60 days; strong

• Must hold NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.).
• ARRT certification (M) required; CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography examinations following ACR requirements. This includes screening and diagnostic mammography as well as all Mammographic procedures.

*Hours are flexible Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Evenings available; Some Saturdays 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry (ARRT) and pass the examination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT,M)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
