Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Mammography Technologist position in New Jersey performs diagnostic and screening mammography per ACR, MQSA, NJ, and FDA requirements. You will ensure precise imaging, labeling, and patient safety while maintaining quality control procedures.

Requirements include AMA-approved Radiologic Technology education, ARRt certification, NJ state license, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must meet ARRT requirements and pass the exam.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and screening mammography examinations per protocol.
• Operates mammography imaging procedures and adjusts factors per patient needs.
• Assists with quality control, phantom imaging, and QC documentation.
• Documents procedures in EMR (EPIC) and tracks patient data during visits.
• Ensures proper labeling, shielding, and adherence to ACR/NJ/FDA guidelines.
