Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to manage the day-to-day operation of the Mammography Department and perform diagnostic mammography examinations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in radiology, an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, and NJ state licensure and ARRT Mammography certification. Strong communication and computer skills are essential to train staff and ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite).

The Lead Mammography Technologist is responsible for day-to-day technical operation of the Mammography Department and for performing diagnostic mammography examinations. This position requires moderate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative as well as providing guidance and training to technologists in order to maximize their development and growth.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, Mammo).
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
