Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead troubleshooting and maintain the property systems across our Washington, DC-area communities. You will work to ensure daily operations of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems, delivering exceptional resident experiences.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, HVAC/EPA certification preferred, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in residential property management.
• HVAC, EPA Certification strongly preferred.
• Requires transporting to work and responding to after-hours emergencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort using various software and computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and adjust control systems across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems.
• Maintain property assets per management guidance with advanced skills.
• Respond quickly to deficiencies found in preventative maintenance inspections.
• Support Preventative Maintenance Program with other technicians.
• Deliver excellent customer service and follow up with residents, vendors and property management.
• Adhere to building codes, safety standards, and fair housing laws; ensure safety compliance.
• Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after-hour emergencies.
