Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold our commitment to residents and property care in the Washington, DC area. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and prepare vacant apartments for move-in while ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Ideal candidates bring experience in building maintenance or trades, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills, and a reliable on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or formal trades education.
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
• Ability to respond to on-call emergencies and weekends/evenings.
• Good communication and a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance
• Resolving maintenance issues in the area of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements
• Preserving the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Providing residents with outstanding customer service
• Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after hour emergencies
