Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a maintenance technician to care for residents and properties in the Washington, DC area. You'll resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues, prepare vacant apartments, and perform general upkeep to sustain a safe, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or related trades.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to on-call emergencies and weekends.
• Comfort with basic computer-based work and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Showing care and concern for residents through service ticket resolutions and preventive maintenance.
• Resolving HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair issues.
• Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turnover repairs.
• Maintaining building safety and cleanliness including grounds upkeep.
• Providing residents with outstanding customer service.
• Working weekends or evenings and on-call for after-hours emergencies.
