Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant Building Maintenance Manager in Washington, DC area. The role focuses on preserving/building upkeep, resident service, and overseeing turnover to support leasing efforts.

You will lead by example, manage tickets, and address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs while ensuring safety and code compliance. Strong communication andproblem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities or residential building maintenance.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical repair experience required.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example and being a role model for Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Addressing resident needs with timely follow ups and meticulous completion of service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Manage make-ready and turnover process to enable leasing and move-ins.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs to preserve building value.
• Maintain building aesthetics and safety including grounds and snow removal.
• Ensure peak efficiency of all property systems.
• Comply with building, county and safety codes; operate safely on-site.
• Participate in weekend work and on-call rotations.
