Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform expert level maintenance, troubleshoot complex control systems, and lead CI activities. You will work with planning to optimize preventive procedures and support training for junior staff.

Requirements include a technical associate degree or equivalent experience, 5–7 years in the industry, and proficiency with electrical/mechanical systems. Travel may be required; strong use of hand tools is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 7 years of experience in specific industry.
• Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.
• Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Works with Planner Scheduler to optimize preventative maintenance procedures.
• May operate multiple machining operations and welding tasks as needed.
• Leads CI activities and cost-saving initiatives.
• Provides training and support to junior technicians and project teams.
• Troubleshoots complex control systems and analyzes data to improve performance.
• Uses predictive maintenance data to observe trends and guide recommendations.
• Maintains CMMS records and supports career development.
