Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform expert level break-fix, preventive maintenance and design improvements on mechanical and electrical equipment in industrial plants. The role includes troubleshooting, predictive analysis, and supporting CI projects to reduce downtime and costs.

The candidate will use CMMS data, conduct vibration and infrared assessments, and may operate multiple machine tools.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 7 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 10 years of experience in specific industry.
• Proficiency in predictive technologies including vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventive maintenance and design enhancements on mechanical and electrical equipment as required.
• Troubleshoots complex control systems and analyzes software/hardware and configuration problems.
• Maintains detailed technical knowledge and updates CMMS records for maintenance history and cost analysis.
• Trains and coaches less experienced technicians and may assume project manager responsibilities.
