Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 2 in Oklahoma City, OK. The role focuses on multi-faceted maintenance of vacant and occupied apartments, including painting, drywall repairs, and building system repairs.

You will manage timely tasks, ensure quality service for residents, and support property improvements. You will work with various systems, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years maintenance experience required.
• 3-5 years of painting and drywall repairs required.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, including painting, drywall, trash-out, mechanical, plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Independently perform system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC, appliances.
• Perform carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine tasks.
• Perform daily grounds maintenance and upkeep per community guidelines.
