Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes in Sandy, UT is seeking a Service Technician 2 to maintain and repair apartments, both vacant and occupied, including painting, drywall, plumbing and electrical work. You will service appliances and building systems while managing time efficiently and delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of maintenance experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years maintenance experience required.
• 3-5 years painting and drywall repairs required.
• High degree of mechanical aptitude required.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders and stairs.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliances desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy: painting, drywall repair, plumbing and electrical work.
• Independently perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, boilers, HVAC and appliances.
• Perform carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per city guidelines and company standards.
• Utilize company apps and travel between properties using personal vehicle.
