Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes in Oklahoma City is seeking a Service Technician 1 to prep vacant apartments for occupancy and provide timely maintenance for residents. You will perform painting, drywall repairs, plumbing, electrical tasks, and basic system repairs, working independently with strong time management.

This full-time, on-site role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience.
• 1+ years painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds/36.3 kg, climb ladders and stairs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Work outdoors in all weather; detail oriented and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy (painting, drywall, repairs).
• Perform basic system repairs (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances).
• Carpentry, flooring, interior/exterior painting as needed.
• Respond to resident service requests daily.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and property improvements.
• Maintain logs and follow safety procedures.
