Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician- Packer to ensure high uptime across bottling lines.

You will troubleshoot complex equipment in areas including injection molding, blow molding, fillers/cappers, and packaging lines, leading safety and continuous improvement initiatives. You will train operators and mechanics, collaborate with plant leadership on projects, and develop SOPs for reliability and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and enforce highest standards in safety and good manufacturing practices plant-wide.
• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures related to high-speed bottle manufacturing and packaging.
• Work with plant leadership to develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement, upgrades, and recurrence problem resolution.
• Rapid identification of machine problems to minimize downtime with root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with other Sr. Maintenance Technician to resolve cross-functional problems.
• Use of available software systems to analyze and identify issues to drive throughput performance.
• Define requirements and lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like-new status during planned downtime.
• Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members to develop operating and troubleshooting procedures in bottling production, injection technology, and labeling domains.
