Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment uptime through in-depth troubleshooting and repair across bottling lines and plant facilities. You will share knowledge with the maintenance team and operators and act as a subject matter expert in key equipment areas, including blow molding, filling, labeling, and conveyors.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, preventive/predictive maintenance, and training to optimize throughput and reliability.

Qualifications

• Requires strong troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Experience with high-speed bottle manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lead/train Operators and Technicians in technical procedures.
• Must read schematics for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent communication across departments and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and good manufacturing practices plant-wide.
• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures.
• Develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement and upgrades.
• Identify machine problems quickly and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Transfer knowledge and create SOPs for bottling and packaging areas.
• Attend on-call and maintain regular attendance for uptime.
