Job summary

Peoples' Self Help Housing Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily building upkeep, unit repairs, and preventative maintenance across multiple properties in California. You will coordinate with vendors, review work orders in Yardi, and ensure tasks are completed within policy guidelines.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance or construction, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid CA driver's license. Some travel and after-hours support are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years maintenance or construction experience required.
• Yardi or similar work order software experience required.
• Experience working with vendors desired.

Responsibilities

• Walk interior and exterior sidewalks daily; cleanup debris and perform basic repairs.
• Clean, paint and repair vacant units per policy.
• Coordinate with vendors for on-site repairs as requested.
• Review work orders in Yardi and perform in-house repairs when possible.
• Inspect and report items under warranty; notify manager for outside repairs.
• Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Conduct periodic inspections with the Maintenance Manager and prepare reports.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems as planned.
• Travel to different properties for coverage and after-hours calls.
